Prominent democracy activist Joshua Wong has been arrested for taking part in a 2019 protest in Hong Kong, reports the South China Morning Post.
On Thursday, Wong was arrested on charges of participating in an illegal assembly on Oct. 5, 2019. Social activist Koo Zse-yiu was also arrested for participating in that protest.
Wong was also charged with violating the city’s anti-mask law.
Both men have been released on bail and are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 30, reported...
