Top U.S. senators have placed holds on a proposed sale of attack helicopters to Nigeria, reports Foreign Policy.
Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and ranking member Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho) have paused the proposed $875 million deal, raising concerns about the Nigerian government’s human-rights record.
