Turkish lawmakers have approved the extension of state of emergency for three more months, reports the Voice of America News.
Parliament voted on Monday to extend the emergency state for a fourth time. The emergency state was declared in July 2016 following a failed coup attempt.
Until the action, the emergency state was set to expire on Wednesday.
