The Russian air force has deployed the latest variant of the MiG-29 fighter to Syria for evaluation, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
Four MiG-29SMTs have arrived at the Hmeimim airbase in western Syria, said the Ministry of Defense, as reported by the Kommersant newspaper on Thursday.
