Latest Hellfire Missile Scores Direct Hit

Lockheed Martin has successfully carried out the first proof-of-principle flight test for the latest version of the Hellfire II anti-tank missile at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., reports the defense firm.

The AGM-114R Hellfire II features a new multi-purpose warhead that allows a single missile to cover all of the target sets of the current laser-guided Hellfire missile variants.
