Nearly 3,000 troops from the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have begun arriving in Yemen in force.
About 2,800 Saudi and allied troops arrived on Sunday, said sources from the Saudi-led coalition cited by Defense News.
Initial forces reportedly included Saudi special operations, intelligence and logistics personnel. They were deployed to secure Aden and to seize the Al-Anad air base.
