Lagos Firm Orders Additional Damen Patrol Ships To Protect Offshore Oil, Gas Fields

Homeland Integrated Offshore Services (HIOS) of Lagos has ordered two additional Damen 3307 patrol vessels, reports Damen Shipyards Group.
The latest order brings the fleet to six vessels, which provide security for Nigeria’s offshore oil and gas fields, said a company release on Monday.
The Damen 3307 is based on the shipbuilder's Fast Crew Supplier 3307 design. The vessel can accommodate up to eight security personnel along with six crewmembers and has seats for 15 passengers.
