Lack Of Funding Hurts Army Move To Patrol Borders

South African plans to replace police on its borders with the military have been hindered by a lack of funds, reports the Business Day (Johannesburg).

Officials said the troops deployment will only be completed once the military receives an additional US$67 million annually.
