The Australian Labor Party has suspended one of its parliamentarians amid an extensive investigation of his ties with China, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. On Friday, the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO) and federal police raided several properties linked to New South Wales MP Shaoquett Moselmane in search of evidence that he was being influenced by Beijing.
