L-39 Trainer Crashes, Pilots Eject Safely

Both pilots survived when a Czech fighter aircraft crashed on Monday near Holice in the Pardubice region, reports the Czech News Agency.
The pilots from the Pardubice aviation training center detected a serious engine problem and flew the L-39 to an uninhabited area and ejected, said a military spokesperson.
The pilots were said to have been on a standard training sortie when the engine caught fire.
The Czech military grounded its L-39s while an investigation is conducted. ...
