L-3 Wins $250 Million Deal For Special Ops UAVs

The U.S. Special Operations Command has awarded L-3 Communications' Geneva Aerospace division a contract for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), reports the defense firm.
The deal covers Viking 400 UAVs for the SOCOM's expeditionary unmanned aircraft system program.
The contract is estimated to be worth up to $250 million over five years.
