At least 18 people have been killed in a clash between Turkish troops and Kurdish militants.
The Kurds attacked a military post Tuesday in southeastern Turkey, killing eight soldiers, CNN reports.
Ten fighters from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in the fighting in the town of Yuksekova in Hakkari province, said security officials.
Sixteen other soldiers were wounded, government officials said.
