Rebels from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have claimed responsibility for blowing up a natural gas pipeline between Iran and Turkey early Wednesday, CNN reports.
Oil and gas company officials said it would take at least six days to resume pumping fuel through the pipeline in Turkey's eastern Agri province.
The attack followed two clashes on Tuesday between PKK fighters and Turkish soldiers that left at least seven troops dead.
