Kurdish rebels have attacked members of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards, reports Agence France-Presse.
Four guards were killed and four others wounded Tuesday evening near the town of Paveh in the western Kermanshah province, officials said on Wednesday.
The attack was made by members of the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), an official told the Mehr news agency.
The PJAK rebels also suffered an unknown number of casualties.
