Published reports have indicated that hundreds of Syrian Kurds have fled to Iraq's autonomous Kurdish region and are receiving military training there, reports the Times of Israel.
The story was denied by officials in Kurdistan.
At least 330 Kurdish Syrians are being trained by the Peshmerga, the Kurdish armed forces in Iraq, in preparation for the post-Assad era in Syria, according to the Arabic-language Kurdish website xabar24.
