Kurdish Leaders In Syria Urge More Support From Canada

Kurdish leaders are calling for Canadian assistance with military and financial support in their fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist group in Syria, reports the National Post (Toronto).
Speaking by videoconference, Salih Muslim, the co-chairman of the Democratic Union Party, thanked Canada for conducting airstrikes against ISIS. However, he said funding would be needed to rebuild areas Kurdish fighters have recaptured from the militants.
