Russian strategic bombers have fired cruise missiles at key terrorist targets in Syria, says the Defense Ministry, as reported by the domestic Sputnik news agency.
The airstrikes hit positions held by Islamic State and Nusra Front, Al-Qaida's former affiliate and now known as Jabhat Fatah al-Sham), in Idlib and Deir Ezzor province, said the ministry on Tuesday. No time was provided about the strikes.
