Two Russian military advisers have been killed and one was severely wounded in a militant attack in Syria, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, as cited by Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The militants launched a mortar attack against Russian soldiers working with the Syrian military, the Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
