King Hands Guard Duties To His Son

King Abdullah has transferred his duties as head of the Saudi national guard to his son.

The King appointed his son, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, to serve as minister of state and commander of the national guard, said the official SPA news agency.

Meanwhile, Prince Badr bin Abdul Aziz has resigned as deputy head of the Saudi national guard for health reasons, reports Press TV (Iran).
