King Appoints New Air Force Chief

King Abdullah has appointed a new commander for the Saudi air force, reports Agence France-Presse.
Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Ayish replaces the retiring Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman bin Fahd al-Faisal. Faisal held the position since 2004.
Ayish also received a promotion to lieutenant general. He previously served as the air force's logistics manager and as the kingdom's southern commander.
