North Korean media said Tuesday that a live-fire exercise was attended by leader Kim Jong Il and his son Kim Jong Un, the New York Times reports.
The two Kims were joined by other members of their family and senior officials, according to the official Korean Central News Agency. The location and date of the drill was not given.
Vice Marshal Ri Yong-ho, the chief of the army general staff, was also present, according to North Korean media.
