Kim Makes Son A 4-Star General

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il has named his youngest son and likely successor a four-star general, the Washington Post reports.

The announcement came Tuesday hours before the start of the biggest political conference in three decades. The son, Kim Jong Un, is in his mid-20s, and has not served in the military.

Six four-star generals were named, also including the leader's sister, Kim Kyoung Hui, age 64.
