Kim Jong Un has been named as the leader of North Korea's governing party, reports Bloomberg News.
The Workers' Party of Korea, the official name of the communist party, named Kim first secretary on Wednesday, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency.
Kim has headed the country since the death of his father, Kim Jong Il, in December.
