U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has announced that an agreement has been reached for a cease-fire in Yemen, reports Al-Manar TV (Lebanon).
A truce between Yemen's Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led coalition will begin on Nov. 17, said Kerry on Tuesday.
Kerry met with officials in Muscat on Monday to discuss Yemen. Kerry also visited the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday as part of a regional tour, reported the Anadolu Agency.
