Keel Laid For Dutch Joint Support Ship At Romanian Yard

Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding has laid the keel for a joint support ship for the Royal Netherlands Navy at its facility in Galati, Romania.
The keel-laying ceremony took place Tuesday.
Additional construction work is scheduled to take place in Romania, while final outfitting, commissioning and trials will occur at Damen Schelde's facility in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, according to a release from the Dutch shipbuilder.
