Afghan President Hamid Karzai has reached an agreement on Russian participation in joint anti-drug operations with the U.S. in Afghanistan, reports RIA Novosti.
Karzai was harshly critical last week of a U.S.-Russian raid that destroyed four drug labs and 2,000 pounds (900 kg) of heroin, saying it infringed Afghan sovereignty, said Russian officials.
Russian officials expressed surprise at the criticism, saying Krazai knew of the operation, reported the Daily Telegraph...
