Justice Minister Resigns Over Proposed Counterterror Proposal

French Justice Minister Christiane Taubira has stepped down from her position to demonstrate her opposition to a proposal that could strip French citizenship from dual citizens who are convicted of terrorism, reports France 24.
Taubira submitted her resignation on Wednesday, said a statement from the office of President Francois Hollande.
The plans were offered after the Nov. 13 Paris attacks in which 130 people were murdered.
