Junta Executes Democracy Activists

The military junta in Burma has announced the execution of four democracy activists, reports the Irrawaddy (Yangon).
On Monday, the military government announced that the sentences against Ko Jimmy, Ko Phyo Zeya Thaw, Hla Myo Aung and Aung Thura Zaw had been carried out.
The opponents of the regime were sentenced in a closed-door trial widely condemned by human-rights groups as being unfair, reported the BBC.
