A Pakistani Islamist leader who has been accused of masterminding terrorist attacks says his group will participate in the nation's general elections in 2018, reports Voice of America News.
Hafiz Saeed, leader of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JUD), told reporters in Lahore on Sunday that the time had come to enter politics and fight for the Kashmiri cause.
JUD launched a political party, Milli Muslim League, in August.
Saeed was released from house arrest on Nov. 22.
