Journalist Sentenced To Life In Prison On Terrorism Charges

A court in Burundi has sentenced a local journalist to life in prison for his role in a terrorist attack last year, reports the New York Times.
Hassan Ruvakuki, a correspondent for Radio France Internationale, was convicted on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in an attack at a bar in September 2011 near the border with Tanzania.
The involvement in part included interviewing a rebel leader, said prosecutors.
