Australia and New Zealand have decided to form a joint Anzac rapid-reaction force.
The defense ministers of the two nations met in Sydney on Wednesday to discuss military relations and security challenges, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
Australian Defense Minister John Faulkner and his New Zealand counterpart Wayne Mapp agreed on several new initiatives.
