Joint Patrols With Indonesia In S. China Sea Under Consideration, Confirms Bishop

Australian and Indonesian leaders are considering joint naval patrols with Indonesia in the South China Sea and Sulu Sea, reports the Australian Broadcasting Corp.
Indonesian Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu brought up the possibility of such patrols during an annual meeting last week with Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Defense Minister Marise Payne.
Bishop confirmed on Tuesday that Canberra was considering the patrols.
