Joint Operation Nets Arms Smugglers In France, Serbia

Serbian and French police have broken up a group said to be involved in trafficking arms and explosives from the Balkans to Paris, Agence France-Presse reports.
A joint investigation culminated in simultaneous raids on Sept. 9 in France and Serbia, French officials announced Saturday. Seven people were said to be arrested near Paris.
Ten other alleged smugglers were seized in Serbia, according to Serbian officials .
