Joint Naval Unit To Be Set Up With Finland

The Swedish government says that it will create a joint naval battle group with Finland, reports the Business Insider.
Stockholm announced the decision on Oct. 29.
The Swedish-Finnish Naval Task Force (SFNTF) is seen as a cost-effective way for the two countries to conduct crisis-response operations in the Arctic and surrounding regions.
The unit will be interoperable with NATO units and militaries. Sweden and Finland are both members of the European Union but not NATO. ...
