Indonesian sailors are conducting a joint maritime patrol exercise with their Australian counterparts, reports the official Antara news agency (Jakarta).
The Uasindo Corpart exercise began on Tuesday and runs through Sept. 16.
About 30 Australian officers and three warships have joined 90 Indonesian sailors and two patrol ships from the 2nd Fleet in Surabaya for the maneuvers off the coast of Indonesia's southernmost East Nusa Tenggara province.
