Mongolia is hosting Russian military forces at its Zuunbayan training range in the Gobi Desert for a bilateral exercise, reports Russia's Tass news agency.
The drills, which are taking place in the Gobi for the first time, began with a ceremony on Aug. 31. Last year's exercise lasted a week and that is also expected this year.
