A recent exercise off the coast of the southern Guangdong province demonstrated the ability of China’s military branches to work together in an amphibious assault, reports the Global Times (China).

A combined arms brigade of the 74th Group Army launched a simulated assault on a coastal area from navy amphibious assault ships with air support.
