Joint Air-To-Ground Missile Hits Milestone

Raytheon and Boeing have test-fired for the first time their Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) at the White Sands Missile Range, N.M., reports Raytheon.
The missile was fired from a ground-based helicopter launcher and performed a series of pre-programmed maneuvers on its way to a pre-designated location, said Raytheon officials.
The trial validated the flight-control software and Brimstone missile airframe, meeting all primary objectives, according to the officials.
