The U.S. and Japan have successfully conducted an Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) intercept flight test off the coast of Kauai, Hawaii, reports the U.S. Missile Defense Agency.
The JFTM-4 test on Oct. 29 verified the newest engagement capability of the Japan Aegis BMD configuration aboard the recently upgraded destroyer JS Kirishima.
