John Warner Submarine About To Be Commissioned In Norfolk, Va.

The U.S. Navy will commission its newest Virginia-class submarine on Saturday at Naval Station Norfolk, Va., reports the Daily Press (Newport News, Va.).
The John Warner (SSN-785), the 12th sub in the class, will be the first to be homeported in Norfolk.
The boat honors John Warner, a longtime senator from Virginia and former Navy secretary.
