Javelin Missile Shows Well In Live-Fire Demonstration

In a live-fire demonstration sponsored by Norway's Ministry of Defense, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon have demonstrated the capability to launch Javelin missiles from a vehicle in winter conditions, reports the Javelin Joint Venture.
In the test held in Rena, Norway, two Javelin missiles scored two direct hits at ranges of 800 and 1,650 meters when fired from a Piranha V vehicle, according to a release.
