The U.S. Air Force is hosting a multinational combat exercise in Alaska, reports the Air Force News Service.
The Red Flag-Alaska 19-2 drills, which began on June 6 and run through June 22, involve around 2,000 personnel and 85 aircraft. Most of the participating aircraft are based at and flying from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and Eielson Air Force Base.
