The Indonesian government has decided to boost the number of personnel assigned to U.N. peacekeeping missions to 4,000 by 2019, says Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, as cited by Antara News, Indonesia's national news agency.
There are currently 1,881 Indonesians participating in U.N. missions, the minister said on Wednesday.
Indonesia ranks 16th in personnel among the 122 countries participating in U.N. peacekeeping, she said.
