An Indian air force fighter jet has crashed near the city of Allahabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh, reports the Press Trust of India.
The Jaguar aircraft went down Tuesday during a training sortie after taking off from the air force's Central Air Command at Bamruali.
The two pilots ejected safely, said the air force. No casualties were reported on the ground. The plane hit the wall near a food warehouse, according to Rediff News (India).
