Iveco-Oto Melara To Supply Remaining Centauro II Vehicles to Italian Army

The Iveco-Oto Melara consortium signed a contract with the Italian Ministry of Defense on June 27 for the procurement of 28 Centauro II anti-tank vehicles. The deliveries will complete the army’s need for 150 anti-tank vehicles as stated in a 2018 program. The deal will cover the construction and delivery of the remaining 28 Centauro II vehicles as well as logistics support for the vehicles for ten years.
