Italian vehicle manufacturer Iveco has opened a new assembly facility in Romania.
The facility in Petresti in Dambovita county was officially inaugurated on April 9, said an Iveco release.
The final assembly plant was built as part of a December 2019 deal with the Romanian government for more than 2,900 high-mobility trucks.
Construction of the facility began in August, and production ramp up began in February.
