Iveco Hands Over 1st Guarani Armored Vehicle

The Brazilian army has taken delivery of its first pre-series production Guarani amphibious armored vehicle, reports Iveco, the Italian builder of the vehicles.
Brazil ordered 2,044 of the vehicles in 2009. Full-rate production is scheduled to begin in 2013 at a plant in Sete Lagoas, Brazil, said an Iveco release.
