Italian Aid Workers Released After Being Held For A Week

Afghan provincial authorities have released three Italian aid workers after concluding they were not part of a plot to kill the governor of Helmand province, Al Jazeera (Qatar) reports.
The three doctors, employed by the Italian medical charity Emergency, were arrested on April 10 after suicide vests, improvised explosive devices, guns and ammunition were found in a storeroom at their hospital.
