Israeli Turrets Selected For Guarani Armored Vehicles

The Brazilian subsidiary Aeroletronica of Israeli's Elbit Systems has received a contract to supply unmanned turrets for the Brazilian army's new armored personnel carrier, reports the Israeli defense firm.
The US$260 million contract covers UT30 BR 30-mm turrets, which are to be integrated with Brazil's new Guarani armored vehicles.
Elbit received a contract in 2009 to supply several such turrets as part of a competition.
