An Israeli spy has been released on parole after nearly 30 years in prison in the U.S., reports Agence France-Presse.
Jonathan Pollard was released from a federal prison in Butner, N.C., on Friday.
Pollard, a 61-year-old former U.S. Navy intelligence analyst, was sentenced to life in prison in 1987. He pleaded guilty to delivering national defense information to a foreign government.
